The Story
Soolantra Cream is a treatment prescribed for the skin to help reduce the pimples and bumps that come with rosacea. It is made using a gentle formulation that attacks the inflammatory lesions caused by the condition.
The active ingredient is ivermectin (10mg/g), which is part of a group of medicines called avermectin. Avermectin helps the skin in two ways. Firstly, it attacks Demodex, which are tiny mites that live on the skin and are linked to what causes rosacea. Secondly, it helps reduce inflammation, which in turn reduces redness and swelling.
The cream’s base also contains Cetaphil® Moisturising Cream, giving it a cool, moisturised feel that’s soft on sensitive skin.
In clinical trials, some people saw noticeable results in as little as two weeks, and continued use only led to even better results.
Soolantra is for use in adults aged 18 and older, and should be applied as directed by your pharmacist.
Keep out of sight and reach of children, and do not store above 30°C.
